BBC Four: Great Irish Journeys with Martha Kearney
The broadcaster concludes her journey retracing the steps of 19th-century geologist George Victor Du Noyer. Martha explores places of great spirituality, starting with the Blasket Islands off the coast of Kerry, then on to the Dingle Peninsula, where Du Noyer discovered stone beehive huts called clochans. Finally, she heads north to the islands of the Fermanagh Lakelands - White Island, Boa Island and Station Island.
Victoria Coren Mitchell, Judith Keppel, Chris Tarrant, Mark Labbett and Nicholas Parsons help Ben Miller trace the origins of the pro-quizzers; quiz show veterans who have emerged from the crowd of quiz aficionados in recent years to achieve fame and fortune for their general knowledge prowess.
